For several years now, yacht builders have been trying to make things bigger and better for their wealthy clients. And at this game, the Italian agency based in Rome, Lazzarini Design Studio, is one of the best. Indeed, the latter has just proposed an incredible concept: an ultra-luxurious boat in the shape of a swan.
Directly inspired by Japanese cartoons from the 70s and 80s, according to the project’s main designer, the appearance of this mega yacht is simply unique in the world. Named “Avanguardia” in reference to its particularly daring style, this jewel of technology measures 137 meters and can accommodate up to 60 people with a comfort that has nothing to envy the largest palaces. For example, the ship has dozens of luxury rooms, a huge garage for storing vehicles, a heliport, five decks for sunbathing and two swimming pools. At the stern, two independent electrically powered capsules, also imagined and designed by Lazzarini Design Studio, can either be used alone or added to the power of the boat (which can go up to 35 km/h).
A real jewel of technology yacht
But that’s not all, in addition to looking like a swan, this new generation yacht has a feature that will leave you speechless: it has a retractable arm (the part that makes up the neck of the swan, ed. note) of about twenty meters, part of which is completely removable. This part, which is none other than the head of the swan, turns into a smaller boat, very useful to reach the shore quietly or to sneak into the smallest creek. Obviously, many people would dream of having a yacht of this type, but on the budget, it hurts. According to several sources, the sale price of the Avanguardia is around 420 million euros.
